"Gays are locked in roiling debate over whether to wear Nasty Pig at a fancy restaurant"

Written by Alex Reimer

A new piece of discourse has entered the algorithm. An apparent warmup act to the annual debate over kink at Pride, an X user said it’s inappropriate to wear Nasty Pig at a fancy restaurant.

“Oh, the scallops sound delightful. And yes, my harness is studded!”

A person named “Alex” called out the uncouth crossover. “Attention gay guys: wearing your pad lock necklace to a nice restaurant is negative culture,” he said.

So far, his post has been viewed more than 1.6 million times. The thousands of remarks have veered from agreeable to downright hostile.

In response, he doubled down. “People trying to moralize about this but it isn’t complicated: Nasty Pig is not chic!,” he said.
