Back in 1993, when Chelsea was the gay epicentre of New York City, Frederick Kearney and David Lauterstein met over $1 margaritas at the Break bar on 8th Avenue in Manhattan, and soon fell in love. A year later, the future husbands co-founded what would become one of the world’s most iconic gay culture brands,  Nasty Pig, with David as CEO and Fred as artistic director.
