Corporate Responsibility

Charity

Nasty Pig is proudly aligned with The Ali Forney Center, who’s mission “is to protect LGBTQ youths from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.” Through our signature fundraisers “Shred Of Hope” and “SCRATCH,” our sponsorship of their annual “A Place At The Table” gala, and donations of Nasty Pig clothing, we raise money and awareness for this incredible organization and keep the kids themselves warm and looking good. Sustainability

The advent of fast fashion has caused the garment industry to become one of the largest polluters in the world, however we at Nasty Pig feel that clothing should not be a disposable commodity. Through our strong knowledge of construction, production of our own fabrics and trims, and by demanding the highest quality of work from our factories, we ensure that our garments are both well designed and durable. It is our obligation to both our customers and the planet to make things that are built to last.

Accountability

We at Nasty Pig are committed to offering our employees not just jobs, but careers as well. We offer wages competitive with the New York fashion industry, sales commissions, full health benefits, a 401K plan, and a professional, creative environment where queer people are free to be themselves. However we understand that our obligation doesn’t end there. As a global manufacturer we must ensure that the people who make our product overseas are treated fairly and work in clean safe conditions. Therefore, twice a year, we send our team to not just to visit our vendors, but to oversee our production as it is happening, thus ensuring our goods have not been farmed out to other factories.
